Ingredients

1 lb ground beef
½ cup chopped onion
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon black pepper
½ teaspoon garlic powder
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
2 large eggs
1 cup milk
½ cup baking mix (like Bisquick)
Optional: ketchup, mustard, pickles, fresh toppings

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F. Grease a 9-inch pie dish.

  • In a skillet, cook beef and onion over medium heat until browned. Drain fat.

  • Stir in salt, pepper, garlic powder (and optional ketchup/mustard).

  • Spread meat into pie dish. Top with shredded cheese.

  • In a bowl, whisk eggs, milk, and baking mix until smooth.

  • Pour batter over beef and cheese.

  • Bake 25–30 minutes until golden and center is set.

  • Cool 5–10 minutes, slice, and serve with toppings.

Notes
